Comments

Clears all cache entries (from all affected caches) which have been marked for batch-cache-clear, with a time stamp before 'now'.
The job is usually triggered during the product import (or the import process chain). Search indexes are also built/updated during batch cache clear.

Dependent on additionally configured processors (custom code) locking, write access to tables and executing stored procedures may occur.
