The web content management (WCM) is a module of Intershop 7/Intershop Commerce Management that allows for creating, managing, storing and publishing content based on a set of predefined building blocks (pages, page variants, content components, page templates, component templates, includes and view contexts).
It involves the following areas:

This digital information is often referred to as content or, to be precise, digital content.
