Mid-January Intershop wants to replace its existing repository infrastructure.

If you already have an artifacts repository on your side, nothing much will change besides you will be contacted mid-December to get new credentials and a different URL for your artifacts repository.

You need to change only credentials and URLs to Intershops new Artifactory server until mid-January.

The registration is now open for customers’ and partners´ engineering or technical experts who have gained already first Intershop project experience or participated at technical Intershop trainings. Please note that the number of seats per company is limited to four (4).

If you use the Red Hat Enterprise 7 Linux operating system, be sure that you have an the current version including the systemd daemon with the systemd-219-19.el7_2.11.x86_64 version (or better).
The older versions of the systemd, such as systemd-219-19.el7.x86_64 create a serious bug with the following behaviour:

If you have configured crontab and jobs as intershop user (appserver,webserver,etc), the crontab job performs login and logout with this configured user. The systemd daemon now kills all running processes with the configured userID, in this case all the mentioned intershop services.

In this case, the unpatched systemd daemon ignored the systemd property like:

/etc/systemd/logind.conf  "KillUserProcesses=no"

Updating your OS to the most recent version will fix this bug. At the moment, we cannot rule out the possibility that CentOS is affected, too.

IOM Connector is a set of cartridges that allows data exchange and communication between Intershop Commerce Management and Intershop Order Management. It is an extension (or "service") module for Intershop Commerce Management.

The IOM Connector is to be set up alongside a standard ICM installation. It adds additional cartridges that define the following managed services:

• IOM Order Service - Exports order data from ICM to IOM
• IOM Order State Service - Changes the order history section in a way that orders' statuses are fetched from IOM whenever the customer requests them
• IOM Download Service
• IOM Reverse Service - Ensures order cancellation is available to the customer (so customers can even print a return slip, which can be used for order returns)

With the new release 1.1 of the Omni-Channel Services Toolset (OCST) as part of the Intershop Commerce Suite our customers and partners receive a modern toolset to develop service applications very fast and flexible. Based on the contact center demo application, which will be delivered as blueprint with the OCST 1.1, specific business processes can be customized and extended. The OCST 1.1 is compatible to Intershop Commerce Management 7.6 B2C and B2X edition.

The contact center agents can add articles by SKU to the basket in the quick order. Now they can additional search for parts of product names or SKUs. The right article can be added to the cart from the search result.
Furthermore the B2B specific customer search is available by now. After selecting a B2B customer from the search result, the contact center agent get details like the taxation identification number.
