Redirects
In the Sparque Center, redirects allow you to configure how specific search requests are rerouted to a different URL. This section provides an overview of common use cases and examples, along with step-by-step instructions for creating, editing, and deleting redirects.
Use Cases and Examples
Redirects can significantly improve the user experience by guiding users directly to the most relevant content based on their intent. This approach not only helps users find what they need more quickly but also minimizes the number of searches that would otherwise yield no results.
For example:
-
A search for "help" could redirect users to the customer support or FAQ page.
-
A search for "notebook" might take users to a curated landing page showcasing all available laptops.
-
Searching for a category like "laptop accessories" could redirect users to a dedicated category page.
-
A query for a specific brand, such as "MacBook", might point users to a seasonal promotion or product showcase.
-
During campaigns, a search for terms like "back to school" could redirect to a tailored event page featuring relevant offers.

For example, "running shoes" and "Running Shoes" will be treated as the same term. Complex conditions, such as starts with or contains, are not supported. - Search term is:
