Building Search Index

The search index must be (re)built after modifying index settings and after creating and defining a new index. To build the index:

Select the management context from the context selection box, then select Mass Data Tasks | Search Indexes.
This displays a list of all search indexes for the selected management context.
Select the checkbox(es) for the index(es) you intend to build.
Click Build.
The index creation is triggered.
Note:
This process may take up to several hours, depending on the data amount to be indexed.
After triggering the index creation, you are taken to the Batch Processes page, which shows the operation progress.
