Introduction

New Intershop Studio release comes with improved support for JUnit test cases when using Gradle-based CI environments.

JUnit Tests Cases
as Gradle Tasks

An action is available to run or debug JUnit tests via Gradle. The launch will be configured to run the selected test case(s) only. If used from the contextual menu Debug As the test will be started in debug mode, and a Java remote debugger will be started automatically.
  1. Chose Debug As: JUnit Test (Gradle).

  2. Enter the actual test task.
  3. Debug session example.

  4. JUnit shows all results:

Docker Tooling

Eclipse Docker tooling is now part of Intershop Studio. See Docker Tooling User Guide for details.

Logback Support

Intershop Commerce Management uses logback to log messages, errors or warnings.

Intershop Studio now contains Logback-beagle in order to see and configure these messages in a log view.

In order to use this view:

  1. Add <consolePlugin /> to a lockback-main.xml.

Improved
Cartridge Wizard

The New Cartridge wizard now provides better error notification.

E.g., creating a cartridge outside an IS_SOURCE folder is notified as warning.
