In case you are wondering whether objects are correctly defined in the application's database schema, you can easily check them with our database checkup self-service. It compares your schema with our standard setup, detects missing or non-default objects and - in most cases - also tells you how to fix any problems found.
Please log in to support.intershop.de - in your datasheet to the contract you will find a tab named DB Checkup.
Download the gdbix.sql and let it run on the database as described in the script itself. This requires administrative rights on the database.
After execution, an XML is created. You can then upload it on the above page and download an evaluation after a few minutes.
Here you should see if indices, constraints, etc. are standard or missing. Their schema is then compared with that of a standard installation.
Detailed information on the database checkup can also be found in this pdf sheet.
We also offer additional services (Database Review and Database Optimization) on inspecting the database as you can see here.
