With Intershop 7.4.6, a new standardized build and deployment process is available. The component-oriented process that is based on standard deployment scripts allows deploying single system components and tiers. Setup and upgrade of all environments are significantly simplified. Administration effort and time to market are reduced. With the Continuous Integration mechanism it is much easier for customers to extend the Intershop platform with their own components and extensions and to set up their own projects.
This video tutorial covers the "big picture" of the processes regarding a single developer workplace and a global team of developers using Intershop 7.4.6.
